JPSC Assistant Engineer (AE) Admit Card 2020: Jharkhand Public Service Commission is going to conduct its Assistant Engineer Prelims Examination on the 19th of January 2020 (earlier it was scheduled on 12th of January) and from the second week of January JPSC AE Admit Card 2020 will be available for download from the board website and from our page as well.

Earlier, JPSC has invited the application for 637 posts of Assistant Engineers (AE) in Civil and Mechanical, thousands of eligible aspirants had applied for the same, and now the Board will declared the exam date of the same and soon going to release JPSC AE hall ticket 2020.

All aspirants who had applied for the post must now give a final touch to their preparations. All aspirants must download their JPSC AE Admit Card once it was announced by the board from their website or from the link available on this page.

Scheme of Prelims Examination

Prelims examination will consist of two papers general studies and optional subjects which consist of 100- 100 questions each and both papers will have a duration of two hours.

Prelims exam is just for screening and qualifying in nature and its marks will not be count in merit.

Part-I question will be in bilingual (English and Hindi) whereas part-II will be only in English

Document required on JPSC Assistant Engineer exam day

On exam day you need to carry one of the following ID proof in original as well as a photocopy of it and one passport size photographs which must be the same as you submit in the application form.

  • Driving license
  • Aadhar card
  • Voter ID card
  • Passport
  • PAN card
  • Nationalized bank passbook (the photo must be affixed on it with duly stamped of the bank)

Selection Procedure for JPSC AE 2020

  • As board didn’t announce the minimum marks to qualify the prelims examination but board will announce it later on but all aspirants who are preparing for prelims must score more than enough to be shortlisted for the mains exams because candidates who successfully shortlisted in the JPSC Assistant Engineer prelims examination the board will call for mains examination to only ten times of the vacancy from the candidates who successfully cleared prelims exam.
  • Mains written examination will consist of two sections first will be of objective type and the second will be of conventional type paper.
  • Those who qualify the mains examination on the basis of man examination will be called for the personality test which carries a maximum of 200 marks.
  • In personality tests, the authority’s main focus is on the leadership quality of the candidates, initiative and intellectual curiosity, tactics and other social, mental qualities, physical energy, powers of practical application and integrity of character.
  • After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for the document verification process to satisfy their eligibility for the post as said in the notification.

Prelims AE Result declaration

Earlier, the Board notify that prelims exam will be held on 12th of January but after that, they release a new notification that prelims exam will be rescheduled on 19th of January and the mains examination will be due on 1st and 2nd of March 2020 so we can expect from this that the board will release its result somewhere around the third week of February 2020. When it was announced by the board we will notify you through this page.

The important guideline for the candidates

  • All candidates must reach half an hour before at the Examination Centre
  • All must carry their JPSC Assistant Engineer Admit Card and one ID proof in original
  • Inside the examination hall, no gadgets or any smartphone or smart devices are not allowed
  • Don’t misbehave with the invigilator in the examination hall
  • Do not try to peek into other candidates’ answers sheet.
  • Using unfair means during the test may lead to the cancellation of your candidature.
  • If you have any queries/doubts you may ask your invigilator.
